Relationship Advice On The Internet?

OK, so already I'm being bad and not regularly posting =( sorry.
Anyway, today while i was hanging with friends i was compelled to ask myself this question: 'Why do we ask for relationship advice online?'
I know that to you all it seems pretty random, but trust me, it related to a conversation.
But in all seriousness, why is it that we (and by we i mean a large majority of the world's population) ask or search for that kind of advice online?

Is it because you usually can't get that kind of advice from your local library? Or maybe it's something deeper, like our own comfort zones.  Most people feel uncomfortable asking others for advice as it is, relationship advice is usually especially tricky. So do we ask 'randoms' on the Internet for advice, because it makes us feel more at ease?

Well i suppose that when you think about it, it's pretty much like a world of advice is waiting for you. You can come across answers for pretty much any romantic situation and even if you can't find the answer to your desired question. Then no need to worry, you can just plug it into some websites and you have thousands of people from all over the world waiting to give you their advice...or more likely personal opinion.

But i suppose the Internet is now an everyday thing, and i suppose it's easier for people to not have to be face-to-face when asking uncomfortable questions or when talking about taboo subjects. Don't get me wrong, i think that it's great that we can type in questions and have about 5 sites pop up that answers all of them. I myself have even asked a question or two. But what has compelled us to change or branch out from the old fashioned Girl-Chat about these kinds of things? Where we would sit around trying to be the next girls version of Dr. Phil and try to help everyone with their woes.
Are we all becoming too Internet based?

What are your thoughts? Do you think asking for relationship advice online is a good thing, or is it something that shouldn't be shared with the world of Internet users?

Until Next Time...

It Really IS A Girl Eat Girl World

Hello All,

Something that just dawned on me, it really is a girl eat girl world. They do say: "It's a dog eat dog world," and sometimes we like to think of specific girls in these terms. I actually know a few who i would love to call a dog to their face, but alas my sensitivity and cowardliness holds me back each time I'm tempted. Seriously though, girls can be bitches. Look I'm not having a go at the whole sex or anything...come on, I'm talking from experience here. I too am a female and i can truthfully say that i have done some bitchy things.

For example, i regularly play jokes on one of my good friends. She is sometimes a 'bit slow', and i horribly take advantage of this. One time i told her that Reece Mastin; the little twerp who won The X factor this year, was coming to a music event near to where i live. Well she got so excited and was nearly having spasms. She was running around our group of friend's begging them to come with her to the 'Indie' event. Like i said, kind of slow. I finally had the heart to break it to her that he actually wasn't going to be showing up.

See, that was majorly bitchy, mind you, I'm not like that all the time, that was one of the most horrible things I've done. I'm not sure that if you searched the whole world, that you'd be able to find a girl who HASN'T done anything bitchy. She must have at least had some bitchy thoughts.
I suppose i have to get with the program though, it's in our nature. If you travel through time, you'll probably see that girls have been this way for a long time. It is only because it's more public now with all the technology and i suppose i could say that people are speaking up about it more.

But i just don't really understand it, I mean I'm pretty relaxed, I'm not as bitchy as some people i know. Which is what i don't understand, if girls stopped bitching about each other and trying to sabotage each other, they would be so much better off. I know it's been said a lot but seriously, if girls worked together, they could run the world. I mean seriously the boys wouldn't know what hit them. They would probably feel the same way they would if their mum  threatened to take away their porno magazines. I'm guessing a lot more compliant.

But come on, you would think that we would smarten up and actually get along, at least for the important things anyway. Ah well i guess we are doomed to for now be a world run by males and women who are usually being controlled by men, when it should be the other way. Come on girls UNITE

A First Post As Well As A Bit Of A Ramble

Okay, so this is my first official post. I'm sorry to say that it's probably going to be short and sweet as well. Anyway, so far I'm really excited about blogging. It's actually something i should have started up ages ago, when someone suggested that i do it. I'm doing it now though so all is well.
Like most people i have high hopes of myself and am going to try to write a post per day...I'm not too good with backing up my word or committing to many things, but we will just see how long i can keep it up for, shall we.

I must say that today i came across a rather big dilemma for me. In school at the moment we have what is called 'Head-Start' which is basically starting school work for next year early. Anyway, In English we are supposed to be doing a persuasive oral on any issue we want.

Well of course I'm going to chose one that's relevant to me and one that means something too. That's why i thought of Same-Sex marriage, i mean obviously it's very personal for me and very relevant too. The thing is, I don't want to present the obvious question, you know: 'Should Same-Sex marriage be legalised?'. I want to bring something different to the table, i want to have something that isn't so obvious and that will make my peers think twice about things.

I mean, I'm not 'Out' with many of my peers (although it's not half obvious) I have only really told friends and some other people. If someone came up to me and asked of course i would say yes, it's just that it's never really come up before. Getting back on track...I really want to do something relating to either Same-Sex marriage or another important issue relating to LGBT people, I'm just not sure what at this point in time.

Well until Tomorrow, hopefully...
